NAPALM DEATH Book Excerpt Available Online

An excerpt from an extensive interview with original NAPALM DEATH vocalist Nic Bullen, conducted by music writer Joel Gausten, is now available online at this location.

Gausten will include an extensive chapter on the early history of NAPALM DEATH and the making of the band's 1985 demo recording "Hatred Surge" in his upcoming book, titled "Albums that (Should've) Changed the World". The book also features exclusive interviews with past/present members of KISS, BLACK SABBATH, AEROSMITH, THIN LIZZY, PRONG, DANZIG, PLASMATICS, MISFITS, RAMONES and many others. The full NAPALM DEATH chapter will focus on NAPALM DEATH circa 1981 to 1986, with special emphasis given to the "Hatred Surge" lineup of Bullen, 14-year-old guitarist Justin Broadrick (later of GODFLESH and JESU),bassist Pete Shaw and drummer Miles Ratledge. The chapter is also slated to include rare graphics and photos from Bullen's personal archives.

Joel Gausten is the author of the books "Tales of Horror: The History of the Misfits & The Undead" and the recently released "Prong: The Early Years". Information on both books is available at this location.

"Albums that (Should've) Changed the World" is slated for a late 2007/early 2008 release.
